The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Voluntary Notice of Proposed Bond Sale

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has announced an upcoming sale of approximately $650,000,000* in General Obligation Bonds, Consolidated Loan of 2024, Series B (“Series 2024B New Money Bonds”). The Series 2024B New Money Bonds are expected to be sold via negotiated sale through an underwriting syndicate led by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC in June 2024*.

In conjunction with the issuance of the Series 2024B New Money Bonds, the Commonwealth is also considering a current refunding (i.e., General Obligation Refunding Bonds, 2024 Series C) of certain outstanding General Obligation Bonds, comprising its Consolidated Loan of 2019, Series G (“Series 2019G”).
